Commitment to accessibility

Or Bar Law Office is committed to providing equal, respectful, independent and accessible service to the public, including people with disabilities. The firm works to reduce barriers in its digital and physical services and to continually improve the usability of its website and communication channels.

If you encounter an accessibility difficulty when using the website or receiving service from the firm, please contact us. We will review the issue and, where reasonably possible, provide an accessibility adjustment or an accessible alternative within a reasonable time.

03

Website accessibility features

Accessibility measures implemented on the website include:

  • Semantic page structure with navigation and main-content landmarks, one main heading per page and a consistent heading hierarchy.
  • A “Skip to content” link that allows keyboard and screen-reader users to move directly to the main content.
  • Keyboard operation of menus, links, buttons, dialogs and forms, including Escape-key closing where appropriate.
  • A clearly visible keyboard-focus indicator that does not rely on colour alone.
  • Contrast, typography and spacing intended to support readability; responsive layouts and support for text enlargement and browser zoom without loss of information or function.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and appropriate exclusion of decorative images from assistive technology.
  • Descriptive link names and accessible names for controls.
  • Forms with persistent labels, instructions, required-field indication, and success or error messages.
  • Right-to-left support for Hebrew, with appropriate left-to-right isolation for telephone numbers, email addresses and web addresses.
  • Respect for the user’s reduced-motion preference.
  • An embedded map with a descriptive title and an alternative link for opening the location in a mapping service.

04

Forms and third-party components

The website includes a contact form and a short consultation-request form. These forms use Google reCAPTCHA v2 to reduce automated submissions. The Contact page also includes an embedded Google Maps map.

The accessibility of these components depends in part on Google services that are outside the firm’s control. If reCAPTCHA, the map or an online form prevents you from completing an action, you may contact the firm by telephone or email using the details below. The firm will provide assistance or an accessible alternative method.

05

Time-based media and documents

At the date of this statement, the website does not contain time-based audio or video content. If such content is added, the firm will work to provide the accessibility alternatives required by applicable law and standards.

If downloadable documents are published on the website, the firm will work to make them accessible under applicable law and SI 5568 Part 2 where applicable. If you encounter an inaccessible document, you may request an accessible copy using the contact details in this statement.

06

Compatibility, testing and known limitations

Accessibility checks are performed routinely, at intervals of several months, and following material changes to the website.

Known limitation: Google Maps and Google reCAPTCHA are third-party components. Their presentation or operation may vary between browsers and assistive technologies. The firm’s alternative contact methods remain available if a difficulty occurs.
